3 ways to reduce the cellulite
Reducing cellulite is a goal for many women. Although there are different more or less effective methods to achieve this, let’s make it clear that there is no miracle solution. We think that it is the combination of three solutions (taking into account also perseverance) that will allow us to reach our goal.
Today we would like to talk about 3 ways to reduce your cellulite.
Physical activity
The best and most effective way to reduce cellulite is to practice a sporting activity. Cellulite is characterized by an excess of fat stored in the tissues, which is necessary to stimulate the body to eliminate it.
Some sports are more effective than others such as running, exercise or bodybuilding to transform this fat into muscle. The type of effort chosen is also important. Fractional training or HIIT is a high-intensity workout that puts a lot of stress on the body and allows to burn fat better.
A recent training method that has also proven to be very effective in eliminating cellulite is electro-fitness. It consists of combining a fitness session and a muscle electrostimulation session to multiply the benefits of both methods. Short, energy-intensive sessions stimulate the basal metabolism and therefore the elimination of fat for several hours.
Controlling calories with diet
The other main key to eliminating cellulite is to adopt an adapted nutritional diet. There’s no need to sweat a lot if you’re going to eat a chocolate bar a few hours later. Sports activities should be associated with a healthy, balanced diet that includes fruit and vegetables (for fibre) and non-fat sources of protein (white meat, fish, eggs, pulses, etc.), taking particular care to control carbohydrates.
These are the general principles valid for anyone wishing to lose fat. Regarding cellulite more specifically, there are however some interesting tips and tricks. In particular, it is recommended to drink a lot of water to promote drainage, which is crucial to reduce cellulite. In this respect, green tea is particularly known for its drainage effect.
On a dietary level, certain foods will help stimulate blood circulation and oxygenation such as fresh fruits rich in vitamins (kiwi, orange, …) but also garlic, onion and nuts (almonds, nuts or hazelnuts but without excess because they have a high calorie level). It is also important to avoid salt (and therefore industrial products) which promotes water retention. A last piece of advice is to consume foods that helps fat burning and the elimination of liquids such as pineapple.
With muscular electrostimulation
Associated with an appropriate diet and, if possible, regular physical activity, electrostimulation is clearly the most effective solution for significantly and lastingly reducing cellulite. Widely used in sports halls as a training method, electrostimulation is making great strides in the world of beauty and is now used in many beauty salons and other treatment centers.
The reason can be summarized in two words: simplicity and efficiency. Firstly, electrostimulation will allow a localized action. Cellulite is located on the thighs, buttocks or hips. It is in these precise areas that the electrodes will be placed to allow an action aimed at strengthening the tissues and fibers.
Some electrostimulators offer programmed specifically dedicated to the elimination of cellulite. This is particularly the case with the solution proposed by i-motion, the world leader in wireless electrostimulation, whose “Cellulite” program is perfect for treating lax skin, sagging tissue, acidity and orange peel skin. It is a calorie-based program that immediately triggers an ideal metabolic activation for women who want to reduce their cellulite. The “Drainage” or “Cardio” programs also have a very positive effect on the elimination of cellulite.

Threating lower back pain with electrostimulation
Low back pain is the obsession of many people. It is the most common back pain in the population. Low back pain is manifested by sometimes acute muscular pain in the lumbar region located in the lower or middle back. It can be particularly disabling by limiting or even preventing movement.
Muscle electrostimulation is a very effective method of treating low back pain because it relieves the pain while treating the pathological causes to prevent its recurrence. Its scientifically proven benefits on back pain make electrostimulation a preferred solution for health professionals, in particular physiotherapists and physical therapists.
Electrostimulation to threat low back pain
Electrostimulation has been proven as an analgesic effect. When used correctly by recognized and competent health professionals, it allows a targeted action on the lumbar area to relieve back pain located in the lower or middle back. This targeted action helps to reduce contractures and relieve muscular pain in this sensitive area, which is particularly complicated to move when suffering from low back pain.
In many cases, lower back pain radiates into the back, can even extend to the buttocks or thighs and prevents the movement. However, movement is the best remedy for lower back pain. Whatever the origin of this low back pain (bad posture, sudden movements, chronic osteoarthritis, etc.), electrostimulation will help to reduce localized muscle contractions in the back thanks to specific programs.
This method is also used and recommended to relax at the end of a hard workday to recover after an intense physical effort that has mobilized the upper body, to relieve muscular stiffness and finally to regain a feeling of well-being.
Relief is good – healing is even better! Most back pain is caused by weak muscles and lack of tone. They are often the result of excessive muscle tension, too much exercise or contractures caused by a wrong posture.
Thanks to specific programs developed by specialized engineers, electrostimulation will strengthen weakened muscles.
The results obtained with electrostimulation techniques to treat low back pain and more generally back pain are convincing. According to the study carried out in 2016 by Dr. Reynier Fernández León which says:
88% of the participants in the study saw their back pain reduced significantly.
After 2 training sessions, 20% showed no pain, and after 6 weeks the number of people reached 60%.
The frequency and duration of the pain was reduced by more than 80%.
After 2 weeks of EMS, pain intensity decreased by 50%.
40% of the participants had chronic back pain before starting treatment and after 6 weeks of training it was only 9%. For 44% of the patients with chronic pain, the pain disappeared completely.
The strength needed for typical daily tasks involving a weight on the back (heavy lifting, physical work, housework, sports, driving or sitting for long periods) improved by 30%.
Most of the improvements occurred during the first 2-4 weeks of training.
Electro-stimulation for professionals
The results of electrostimulation in the treatment of back pain are therefore scientifically proven, but that’s not all. It is also a particularly suitable method for physiotherapy practices or physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
It allows a very wide range of patients to be treated by adapting the protocols to their needs in order to rehabilitate and prevent. EMS wireless electrostimulation is very easy to use and improves patient autonomy. I-motion, a world leader in the sector, has developed electrostimulation devices offering programs dedicated to the treatment of back pain and equipped with wireless technology (up to 100 meters range) for an unlimited number of patients.
This solution, developed by experienced engineers specialized in the design and manufacture of medical devices, is made in Spain. It has the KTC certificates, the CE certificate approved by the SGS and the Invima quality management certificate that guarantees the quality of the products and their innovative character. Training to become an electrostimulation (EMS) trainer
More and more professionals use electrostimulation in their activities. The main professions that practice this specialty are sports professionals, physiotherapists and aesthetician. To offer an electrostimulation service are necessary two conditions:
1. It is compulsory to have the degree or certificate in order to carry out their main professional activity.
2. To be trained and specialized in electrostimulation.
This means that whether you are a sports trainer, physiotherapist or aesthetician you must have a specific degree for your profession. This is essential in order to carry out your professional activity.
If you like to offer electrostimulation services to your patients or clients, you must be trained in order to acquire specific skills in this method. For this reason it is necessary that you train with EMS professionals, and the company that provides you with equipment offers you this training and certifies you.
Muscular electrostimulation consists of the emission of electrical pulses through the muscles, as our own body does through the different cells of our body. It is based on a very high performance technology and can be adapted to very diverse uses that require specific knowledge, such as:
Electrostimulation in sports:
In sports clubs and/or gyms, electro-stimulation can be used for weight loss, toning up and strengthening of muscles as well as muscle recovery. In addition, it increases energy, increases strength, and improves circulation.
Electrostimulation in health:
In health clinics, electrostimulation will be used to relieve pain, optimize rehabilitation and prevent injury. Achieve a motor response, increase muscle strength through different programs, prevent muscle atrophy and increase tone.
Aesthetic electrostimulation:
In beauty centers, electrostimulation will help to sculpt the body, reduce cellulite, improve blood circulation and improve general well-being.
Whether in any of these three fields, it is necessary that all the professionals who offer the electrostimulation service are trained and certified by the company that provides them the equipment.
Specific training and personalized support:
Nowadays, electrostimulators are very advanced technological devices that, in order to be used to their full potential, require good technical knowledge.
The supplier of the electrostimulation equipment, as in our case I-motion EMS, is the one who offers not only advanced technology equipment, but also specific training and certification of having participated in our training courses. As a company, we consider ourselves a true partner, who accompanies each of our clients, from the moment they acquire the equipment, are trained, and begin their business career in the world of electrostimulation.
If you want to start and specialize in the world of electrostimulation, whether in the field of sport, health or aesthetic, ask for information about i-motion Club.

The demand for coach electrostimulation trainers is growing
The demand for coach electrostimulation is increasing every day, which is the reason because our family of EMS Trainer and I-motion clubs is on the rise, growing all over the world. More and more coaches are choosing electrostimulation as a way to improve their results and offer an advanced technology service.
Today we introduce you to Angelique Tedesco, who has joined us as EMS Personal Trainer and I-motion brand ambassador for France. Angelique, as a commercial representative of our brand, will perform demonstrations of our products, trainings, and sales.
To be trained as an I-motion electrostimulation coach, she has visited our headquarters in Madrid. This is a summary about Angelique and her visit to Spain.
Presenting Angelique Tedesco:
Angelique is a coach graduated in nutrition and in electrostimulation (EMS)
Her goal is the well-being of her client thanks to personalized training.
Why she recommend Electrostimulation?
The goal of electrostimulation is to reproduce the process of a contraction
voluntary muscle from electric pulses by electrodes. This method is often used for rehabilitation by the physiotherapists. It consists of the emission of electrical impulses to the muscles just as our own organism does through the different cells of our body.
A session of 20 minutes equivalent to 4 hours of muscle contraction.
Advantages of electro stimulation:
- Increases energy
- Helps lose weight
- Increases strength
- Combats stress
- Improves circulation
- Prevents injuries
- Reduces the BMI
- Improves the health of your back
- Increases lung capacity
- Strengthens the pelvic floor
- Strengthens the abdomen
- Tones the Buttocks
The material used is of last generation and wireless, it is an asset because the session can be organized either outside or at home.
Working of course, with all health precautions related to Covid-19.
The targeted people are those who want fast results and do not have the time or don’t like to go to the gym sport.
One session per week is sufficient. Two persons can be coached at the same time (couple, friends, girlfriends).

How to treat cellulite? Electrostimulation
Is there a solution on the market that acts specifically on the “orange peel skin” effect?
The answer is yes. Technological advances in the field of muscular electrostimulation have made it possible to develop devices and programs that allow a fast and significant reduction of cellulite. .
→ Electrostimulation, for a localized action
Cellulite is a physiological variation of fat distribution. It refers exclusively to women and is found in the hypodermis of the thighs, buttocks and hips. Therefore, to act specifically on cellulite, it is necessary to have a specific action in these areas.
Muscle electrostimulation is a method that consists of sending electrical impulses directly to the muscles to force their contraction and strengthen the fibers, making it possible to target specific areas of the body by placing electrodes in these strategic places.
→ Eliminate cellulite with electrostimulation
Working specifically in areas where cellulite is concentrated is a good start. But for effective action, it is necessary to use an adapted technique. By acting directly on the muscles, electrostimulation has the effect of strengthening and toning them. –
– Also, I-motion, one of the world leaders in wireless EMS, after several studies on real cases has developed a program specifically dedicated to cellulite reduction. An innovative program designed by engineers specialized in the design and manufacture of medical devices. This new approach positions i-motion as a company as a competitor in the field of muscle electrostimulation.
The anti-cellulite program developed by i-motion has been studied to treat skin laxity, tissue flaccidity, heartburn and orange peel skin. Focused on calorie burning, it triggers an immediate metabolic activation that has the effect of eliminating fat and acting against water retention for fast and long term results. –
→ Electrostimulation in beauty centers
Already widely used in sports centers, especially for weight loss and muscle strengthening, electrostimulation is gaining ground in health and beauty centers. In beauty centers, muscle electrostimulation is used in particular to lose weight, sculpt the silhouette and improve well-being.
Managers of beauty centers are discovering an ideal solution to optimize time and space, build customer loyalty, attract new customers and stand out from the competition . –

What is electrostimulation in rehabilitation for?
I-motion EMS electro-stimulators stimulate muscle fibers (unlike TENS electro-stimulators, which focus on nerve fibers), producing currents whose intensity can be adjusted to the needs of each patient. This technology makes it possible to obtain a contraction of the muscle to be treated using a wide variety of electrical stimulation and a wide range of frequency and amplitude variations to produce the type of current that each patient needs. In this way, the physiotherapist defines the exact sequential pulse to generate a motor response.
Electrostimulation in rehabilitation: uses and benefits
Electrostimulation in rehabilitation to relieve pain
One of the main uses of electrostimulation therapy devices in rehabilitation is its use to minimize and relieve pain. There are specific programs for this purpose, although the professional can also determine the specific personalized programming that he considers appropriate for each case with the electrodes connected to the corresponding muscular zone.
This analgesic use is key when using electrostimulation for rehabilitative purposes. It allows the patient to gain in quality of life improving his well-being. And it allows him to perform activities that pain prevented him from carrying out. Among them, there may be some physical exercises appropriate for rehabilitation that would otherwise be very painful to perform.
The electrostimulation for pain relief, depending on the type of injury or problem, can be applied in a very specific area or at general level in large areas of the body. Each personal case will recommend one or the other use.
Stimulation of paralyzed muscles and prevention of muscle atrophy
Stimulation of paralyzed muscles is one of the most relevant uses of electrostimulation in rehabilitation. The proper use of electrostimulation device allows both the prevention and the treatment of muscle atrophy.
When an injury prevents movement, the muscles involved in such injury are not used, or at least not with their own mechanical activation, and run the risk of atrophy. To avoid this problem these devices execute the appropriate stimulation of paralyzed or unused muscles. In this way electrostimulation in rehabilitation allows these muscles to work without the need for the individual to move them autonomously.
All this allows:
–Avoid more severe damages. That is to say, it avoids adding to the injuries problems of atrophied muscles due to the lack of use and the chaining of problems to other areas of the musculature..
–Reduce the patient’s recovery time. This benefit of electrostimulation in rehabilitation is essential to improve the patient’s well-being. This is achieved because the muscles will not have atrophied.
–Avoid problems of bad postures that the patient can take to avoid pain in the injured area. This allows to prevent the appearance of other chained injuries and will improve the patient quality of life.
Local electrostimulation in rehabilitation
This allows to work specifically certain muscles in order to help reduce the loss of muscle mass and contributes to the recovery of mass and volume as appropriate. All of this can accomplished without putting stress on damaged muscles that need to rest and recover.
Increase in muscle strength and stability
Another usefulness of electrostimulation in rehabilitation is the increase in muscle strength and stability. This is essential to return to the musculature the strength and stability that a healthy body requires and allows to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
The proper use of the electrostimulator on the muscles allows exercise them. But not in any way, but with the great added advantage of being able to provide adequate muscle stimulation in a short time, thus reducing the time necessary for the muscles to be stable and strengthened after the injury.
Doing this work without the use of an electrostimulator is much slower and requires longer and more expensive work sessions for the patient. For this reason, it is one of the main applications of electrostimulation in rehabilitation.
Muscle potentiation
Achieving muscle enhancement in a relatively short space of time is another of the main advantages of electrostimulation in rehabilitation. Although each case must be reviewed in a personalized way, as a rule this is usually the final step of a rehabilitation process after an injury or accident.
The main reason to include muscle enhancement in a rehabilitation process is to provide the patient with greater physical strength and recovery of adequate muscle mass. This will allow him to improve his well-being and minimize the risk of subsequent injuries.
In the case of athletes, this muscular potentiation is the key for their body to return to the state of physical form prior to the injury.
Correction of muscle imbalances
A very relevant and frequent use of electrostimulation in rehabilitation is the correction of the imbalance between different muscle groups. This imbalance can be both the result of an injury and the cause of it, depending on the case.
Correcting the imbalance between muscle groups by specifically empowering, developing and strengthening muscles that are weakest is essential for the patient. Achieving optimal muscle balance will help improve body and physical shape. And not only that, it will also allow to reduce the risk of new injuries due to this problem.
You see, electrostimulation in rehabilitation has many applications and is key to helping the patient’s recovery well-being and quality of life. This help can be provided through one or more of the mentioned issues, depending on the specific case. Evaluate the functionality that a fitness electrical muscle stimulation devices of imotion-ems.com can provide in this regard to help your patients.

Electromagnetism and body aesthetics.
The canons of female beauty in the last century have evolved.
The concept of beauty in women has changed over the centuries and considerably in recent years. In the 60s, youth movements and feminism produced a change for canons of beauty. Fashion at that time called for a slimmer body, with a flat stomach and narrow hips, so there was a general trend to lose weight.
The stereotype of a woman of the time describes a woman with long legs, short hair, and eyes with false eyelashes. In the 70s, the sexual and social revolution continues. It is a decade where the cult of the body takes on particular importance. The penchant for losing weight remains, and curves are back in fashion. Women carded their hair, do not wear bras, and they liked to tan.
The 80s are years of excess and originality. It is the age of lion hair, and shoulder pads and high heels. There was enthusiasm for fitness in the world. High hip lines in swimsuits and bikinis marked the beginning of the Brazilian wax.
In the 90s, the female prototype is a prototype of athletic and slim bodies (but not excessively). Jennifer Aniston’s haircut on “Friends” becomes popular. This model lives with figures of slim girls with thin arms and legs, pale skin, and prominent clavicles. With the arrival of the new century, the trend of an athletic body where the abs are visible resurfaces, giving rise to personal trainers’ era, and the proliferation of diets. When these do not work as desired, operations occur aesthetic, and they appear the procedures to rescue hidden beauty through non-invasive techniques.
Since 2010, aesthetics affects both men and women equally, we all adapt to current fashion and beauty. A type of woman with a slender figure, strong arms, and large buttocks is the stereotype that predominates in the last decade.

Trends in body esthetics.
According to some recent studies, body aesthetics is the main reason many women move into the world of physical exercise, far above health, fitness, or pleasure.
Perhaps the interest in having a sculpted, toned body and a cared face has a close correlation with showing yourself to the world on social networks. In aesthetic centers, body contouring and fat reduction are two of the most requested treatments. The demand for liposuction has increased, but the need for non-invasive treatments is currently exceeding cosmetic surgery in all groups’ demographics.
The current trend in women is to maintain a healthy lifestyle along with the incorporation of non-invasive treatments. The search for naturalness, micro-touches, and personalized techniques seems to be the winning trend for some time now.
Electromagnetism within esthetic medicine.
One of the areas of non-invasive aesthetic medicine is electromagnetism. This technique use frequently in medical treatments such as wound healing, nerve and muscle pain relief, and regeneration of skeletal muscle tissue.
At present, these techniques are already working in the world of aesthetics, as a non-invasive technology (non-surgical procedures) with visible results for the patient or client in a few weeks.
Electromagnetic energy absorption can be more effective than electrostimulation (in some cases), which works at a more superficial level. Electromagnetic waves penetrate to a deeper level. Acting more deeply in the tissues allows us to develop the muscles and eliminate excess fat in a few sessions. We are facing a technique that remodels the body from the inside out.
It should be clear that these techniques allow us to improve at the muscular level and tone our bodies. Even so, we do not achieve the advantages that sport offers us at a cardiovascular, metabolic, and psycho-emotional level.
In other articles, we have already analyzed one of the main concerns that women who visit an aesthetic medical center have, and that is cellulite. The problem that develops mainly in women, as we all know, come by genetic and hormonal factors and low blood circulation, making fat deposits more visible. Most women will experience cellulite at some point in their life. Incorporating electromagnetism sessions into the working hours of a modern day woman will allow her to reduce cellulite and tighten the skin in a non-invasive way.
According to some experts, the results are visible after three weeks, with only two sessions. Of course, in general, between four and six sessions are necessary, with intervals of 15 days between each one, to achieve a full effect. Besides, with this practice, you strengthen the internal muscles of the abdomen, reducing fat deposits. Moreover, if you work your glutes, they get stronger and lift.
I-sculpt FMS.

I-sculpt FMS is a device that, through high-intensity electromagnetic radiation, manages to reduce fat (visceral fat by 22%) and is the only one capable of generating muscle by 18%. In just four sessions, mark abs and forcefully lift buttocks. Our device provides these benefits to clients or patients of a clinic. What does I-sculpt provide in beauty centers, aesthetic clinics, aesthetic medicine centers, or beauty salons? Can the outlay incorporate this new device be a risky investment? What profitability does it generate for clinics?
Having a device like I-sculpt FMS in your clinic will allow you to offer your patients complementary treatments with visible results in very few sessions. They will talk it with their friends and family. The best publicity for your excellent work with I-sculpt is to have your patients satisfied and happy with the results obtained.
After the purchase of the device and the personnel’s training, both in use and the benefits that this technology offers to its customers, you only have to present this new service to your current and potential customers. You can run an email campaign to invite current patients, former patients, friends, and family to launch this new clinical service.
The future is bright for aesthetic professionals who incorporate I-sculpt FMS into their esthetic clinics or beauty centers. Coming soon, we will announce the release of I-sculpt FMS to the market. It is the right time
to request information and be among the first to incorporate this new technology.
